If we haven't answered your question below, or you need further info, please ask us
I am recruiting and need relevant checks for my new hires - can you help?
We offer 2 levels of service for new hires
- Level 1. We process necessary checks for your new hires and end our support once the relevant checks are returned. Fees are charged per check and a discount may be offered for high volume orders. An invoice is issued at the point of request
- Level 2. We create your TEAMtab Dashboard and process checks for your new hires. We then track all check expiry dates and process renewals. When a renewal is due, we check with your team whether that person is still employed and we ask you to authorise a recurring check. An invoice is issued at authorisation point
I am not sure what checks I need for my staff
Industries often have similar mandatory checks, plus additional checks depending on the job your employee or contractor is undertaking. Even if your industry doesn't mandate a particular check, you can still include the check as part of your employment terms and conditions. Please check with us if you are unsure about your requirements.
We are behind on our checking process and not sure who has what - where do we start?
Easy done, we do a simple audit for you. Give us a list of your team members and what information you might have at this point, and we take it from there. We will check with you what staff must have checks and create your TEAMtab dashboard with relevant data. We will then get authorisation from you to contact each of your team members and begin the processing stage. All information is recorded on your TEAMtab Dashboard.
We need immediate checks for existing staff to get us quickly up to compliance - can you do an urgent service?
No problem, we will prioritise your needs and work quickly to ensure your organisation is meeting or at least working towards compliance.
We want ongoing compliance support but don't want to pay for annual renewals if the staff member no longer works for us. How will you know who is still on our team when renewal time ticks over?
With Strikingly, it's incredibly easy to create a website. Just pick a template, add sections, change the content, and click Publish. Millions of sites have already been created -- yours is next!Do I need a police check if I already have a WWC?
Yes, you will likely still need a National Police Check (NPC) even if you have a WWCC), as they are distinct, non-substitutable, and serve different purposes. A WWCC specifically screens for child-related safety risks, whereas an NPC provides a general criminal history check for employment.
What are your fees - will we end up paying for things we don't need?
Our fee schedule means you only pay for what you need and is not a one size fits all. Specific checks cost different amounts to process and you are charged a flat fee for each team member. Other add-on services are charged per item. Bulk requests will receive a discount. Please check with us by submitting an enquiry via our START ENQUIRY page.
You will be handling sensitive information, how do I know your service is confidential?
We offer a Confidentiality Agreement to each client, which provides absolute confidence that any information is handled carefully and sensitively, and within the strict parameters of the National Privacy Act. Please ask us if you would like to view a copy of the CA before moving forward.
How long do national police clearances take to process?
Checks generally take 2-3 business days depending on processing times. This can be longer if the check is more complex, or if the name of the person is common.
I need a mix of services, can I choose multiple items?
Absolutely, just mix and match what you need. Don't overpay for something you may not need at this point, you can always upgrade.
